Common questions about Marketplace Monitor. If your question isn't answered below, contact support (see the bottom of this page). If you're already signed in and looking for how-to guidance, the in-product help covers day-to-day usage in more depth.

Do you offer a free trial?

Yes. Go to AWS Marketplace and use the "Try for Free" option (top right, in blue). Here's a direct link if that's easier.

Can I reset my password?

Yes. If you have a user account, use the "Forgot Password" link on the login screen. We never see or store your password and cannot recover it for you — we can only help you reset it.

Do you need our AWS IAM (PartnerCentral or Marketplace) credentials?

No. We create accounts using just your corporate email address. If you decide to use a Marketplace Monitor feature that requires AWS authentication, you'll be prompted to authenticate using a standard OAuth ("Login to/with AWS") mechanism, and we do not access or store your user name, password, or MFA token.

Do you store any payment information?

No. Subscription payments are processed via AWS Marketplace and land on your organization's AWS account, which is paid by whatever arrangement you have with them.

Do you store any other sensitive or restricted information?

No. Apart from a user's name, email address, and company, the only information we store is either public (including from AWS Marketplace) or derived from public sources.

Does Marketplace Monitor help us create AWS Marketplace listings?

Not directly. You can do this with either AWS Marketplace AI Assisted Product Listing, or we can help you through our PartnerCentral & Marketplace Operations service, or there are other third parties that specialize in the listing process. Once your AWS Marketplace listing exists, Marketplace Monitor will continually analyse it and help you update it if required (see next).

Does Marketplace Monitor help us update product details on AWS Marketplace?

Yes — seller and product profiles are analysed with embedded AI, compared and scored against AWS Marketplace best practices. Suggestions for content rewrites are generated, with 1-click updates supported (subject to AWS Marketplace permissions and publishing processes).

What types of AWS Marketplace listings do you support?

Any and all of them — SaaS, AMI, Container, Model, Professional Services, Data Exchange, and API/AI Tools.

How often is the data updated?

Data is refreshed daily around 20:00 GMT / 13:00 PST, except for obvious exceptions (e.g. products no longer visible on AWS Marketplace).

Can you tell me how many visits I have on my AWS Marketplace product page, where those visitors come from, etc.?

It depends. We can't tell you any more than AWS provides, which can vary from zero to many things depending on your partner and program level, as well as how you have configured certain AWS Marketplace features.

What's the difference between free, standard, premium, ultimate, and custom plans?

Essentially it comes down to how many seller profiles, product profiles, AI analyses, AgentMode comparisons, and users you can use (note that we don't scale plans by "users" or "seats"). Higher tiers unlock more tracked search terms, more tracked products, more frequent AI analysis, and on-demand analysis triggers.

Can I use Marketplace Monitor without buying a subscription via AWS Marketplace?

We prefer to use AWS Marketplace — not least, it's the ecosystem that our solution extends. However, if there's a specific reason you can't do that (e.g. you don't have AWS Marketplace purchase permissions), contact us to discuss other options.

Do you support other hyperscaler or cloud marketplaces?

No, just AWS Marketplace.

If I stop using your service, what happens to my data?

We delete it 28 days after your subscription expires or you cancel. We don't provide a mechanism for you to download or export your data at the end of a subscription. Once the data is gone, we can't recover it for you later.
